A dream:
A young boy dragging a kids drum on a string down the footpath on the other side of the street.
On awakening:
There was no child and the drum was an empty bucket being dragged along the ground by brown water.
After flood:
As the water subsided things surfaced. Among these were books fused shut with their images now stuck more tightly together than to the paper which they were printed.
